Jazz for DC Kids - Getting our Kids Jazzed About Learning
In partnership with leading institutions in the District of Columbia, the DCJF Roberts Flack Education Program presents free student concerts, workshops, master classes and other programs with the District of Columbia Public Schools (DCPS) and DC public charter school students and teachers. 2012 activities include:
Free Student concerts and master classes that served more than 5,000 young people, in partnership with DCPS and leading institutions; Jazzin' at Sitar, a jazz improvisation/history after-school program at Sitar Arts Center Jazz n Families Fun Days at the Phillips Collection Participation in the DCPS New Teacher Orientation; |
