Become a Jazz in the Hoods Venue Partner!

Jazz in the ‘Hoods, a major feature of the DC Jazz Festival, is an exciting partnership with local clubs, restaurants, hotels and galleries in celebration of jazz in our nation’s capital. Jazz in the ‘Hoods highlights DC as a vibrant cultural center in more than 40 venues around the city from June 1 – 13, 2010. Jazz in the ‘Hoods events attract an increasingly large number of local residents as well as tourists—adding revenue streams to clubs, restaurants and hotels, and boosting the local business economy—and, overall, encourage patronage of establishments that present jazz.
Venue Partner Benefits:
• Two tickets to the 2010 Opening Concert
• Venue Listing and link on DCJF website
• Listing in 2010 Festival Brochure
• Listing in dedicated Jazz in the 'Hoods ads to run in select media publications
Each Venue Partner plays an important role in our marketing/advertising efforts. As a Jazz in the ‘Hoods participant, venue partners will:
• Distribute DCJF promotional postcards and/or flyers in venue.
• Display promotional DCJF posters in venue windows/doorways (optional).
• Include DCJF website listing and link on venue website.
• Promote 2008 festival in email distributions/newsletters.
• Provide a distribution point for DCJF brochures, which includes a listing of
Jazz in the ‘Hoods performances.
In support of advertising and promotional efforts, venues with ticketed events will provide:
• Minimum of 2 complimentary admissions
• Access by DCJF credentialed staff
