Damia Briscoe is an events management intern at DC JazzFest. She is currently pursuing a major in jazz studies at the University of the District of Columbia. Previously, she attended the Duke Ellington School of the Arts, where she majored in vocal arts. Briscoe is enthusiastic about exploring event and festival planning and is eager to learn as much as she can.
