The DC Jazz Fest at the Wharf

DC Jazz Fest at The Wharf featured dozens of accomplished jazz musicians performing on multiple outdoor stages on September 4-5, 2021—Labor Day Weekend. Registration was required for attendance.

 

The Wharf is a waterfront neighborhood located at 101 District Square SW, Washington, DC. Visitors are strongly encouraged to use public transportation, taxi, and ride sharing (Uber and Lyft) to access The Wharf. The Water Taxi circulates between Old Alexandria, Georgetown, National Harbor and The Wharf. Driving to The Wharf is not recommended; garage parking is limited and rates reach $45 for 4+ hours. 

 

The DC JazzFest at The Wharf followed all of the health and safety guidelines detailed by Mayor Bowser's latest Order, including the wearing of masks in any indoor spaces. Please read the Mayor's latest Order here: https://coronavirus.dc.gov/healthguidance

The lineup for the 17th Annual DC JazzFest featured an eclectic and diverse cast of Grammy winners, burgeoning jazz superstars and a slew of DC's finest local talent. There will be something for everyone at this year's festival, we look forward to this immersive “jazz takeover” of DC in September!

This SINGLE DAY PASS grants you STANDING general admission to the DC JazzFest at The Wharf on the date designated on your ticket. This pass is non-transferable/non-refundable. 
 

Guests will have the option of donating to DCJF while registering for their GA passes, with a suggested donation of $20 per guest. Your contribution will help us continue to serve our community in 2021 and beyond.

DC JazzFest Cabanas are back by popular demand! The 2021 DC JazzFest at The Wharf will feature 16 total cabanas overlooking the waterfront at both the District and Transit Piers. Each pier will be lined with private, luxury cabana tents that seat up to six people allowing for the ultimate group experience. DC JazzFest at The Wharf will not only include performances by 16+ jazz artists, but also a Meet the Artist tent for up-close-and-personal conversations with your favorite artists. The cabanas are designed to offer your closest family and friends a private space to host your own special gathering during this year's festival. 

Each cabana comes with:

  • One (1)10x10 tent with 3 side walls

  • Six (6) padded seats

  • One (1) trash can

  • Six (6) accompanying guaranteed seats in front of the stage

Cabana guests will also be able to add beer, wine, and champagne packages--more information about drink packages is forthcoming.

7th Annual DCJazzPrix Finals Live at Union Stage

The 7th annual DCJazzPrix international band competition will take place on Sunday, September 5th at Union Stage during the final day of the DC JazzFest at The Wharf. This year's finalists include The Giveton Gelin Quintet, Camilla George and Dayramir Gonzalez & Habana enTRANCé. General admission tickets are now available for purchase, with limited options for seating available on a first-come-first-serve basis.
