About the event
DC Jazz Festival Education is proud to collaborate with Bethesda Blues and Jazz Youth Orchestra on a workshop and concert with the Cindy Blackman Santana Trio to commemorate Juneteenth!Â
As part of this special celebration, Cindy will conduct a free workshop from 4:30 to 6:00pm. During the workshop, she will discuss her music, share insights from her professional journey, and actively engage with young Jazz musicians. At 7:00pm, prior to Cindy's Trio taking the stage, the BBJYO small group will perform a brief set.Â
