This one-day workshop is designed to empower artists to successfully manage the business side of their music careers. With tips on negotiating contracts, setting up a business account, saving for retirement, and managing tax obligations (1099) and effective tax filing strategies, musicians gain the confidence to proclaim that Musicians are Small Business Owners Too! Musicians who complete the course receive a certificate. College students and professionals are encouraged to register.
