Aqmeri Amen is no stranger to the arts world, having spent over 21 years studying various performing art forms, providing her with an extensive background, specifically in dance and music. She studied Music Business with a concentration in Classical Piano Performance at Howard University, under the direction of Dr. Raymond Jackson. During her 17 years of classical piano training, Amen has performed in various performance halls in the U.S. and internationally, including Carnegie Hall’s Weill Recital Hall. In 2008, she had the honor to participate in Musica E Arte in Tolentino, Italy where she received the award for excellence in classical piano performance. She has also held positions as Artistic Director and lead soloist in various professional dance companies. As an avid enthusiast of the arts, Aqmeri brings eight years of events and logistics expertise, with a special concentration in music/arts management.
