Leslie S. Whipkey, CIMA®, CFP®, C(k)P®, is a Retirement Benefits Consultant and is also among the select group of advisors firm-wide designated to provide co-fiduciary investment consulting services to qualified retirement plans. From 2006 to 2012, Mrs. Whipkey taught financial literacy to middle school and high school students in Montgomery County Public Schools on a volunteer basis. Prior to joining Merrill Lynch in 2005, she was a program manager and transportation logistics analyst for a defense consulting firm serving the Joint Chiefs of Staff at the Pentagon, and she was on the adjunct faculty in the Mathematics Department at The George Washington University. In 2014 and 2015 Mrs. Whipkey was selected by the National Association of Plan Advisors (NAPA) as a delegate to a forum on Capitol Hill wherein retirement professionals meet with members of Congress to discuss issues and trends impacting retirement savings. Mrs. Whipkey earned Bachelor™s and Master™s degrees in Mathematics from Fordham University and The George Washington University, respectively. She has served on the boards of Levine School of Music and Dumbarton Church.
