Rae Grey

Administrative Assistant to the CEO

Raeanna “Rae” Grey serves as the Administrative Assistant to the CEO for the DC Jazz Festival. Outside of the DC Jazz Festival, Rae is a movement artist who currently resides in Washington D.C. In her free time, she enjoys taking dance classes, teaching dance classes and choreographing. Rae has performed with multiple companies in the DMV including Heart Stuck Bernie, BREathe, Capitol Movement, Aru Dell’Arte, ReVison, UpRooted and Dance Art Theater. She has also performed with programs such as NACHMO DC and Dance ICONS. She has showcased her work in her own co-produced show, The Hollow: New Beginnings, and at other showcases such as the District Choreography Dance Festival, The Kennedy Center’s Day of Dance, Transformation Showcase, and Coalescence. A graduate from James Madison University with both a Bachelors of Science and Art, Rae has spent the past few years diving into the world of Arts Administration and has performed roles such as Studio Management and Programs Assistance. Her current quest in life is to discover her “why?” through her love for creative artistic expression. Rae is excited to explore the world of the DC Jazz Festival and become acquainted with the talented individuals who make it possible.
